ACCREDITATION
IKM-MQA JOINT TECHNICAL COMMITTEE (JTC)
Institut Kimia Malaysia (IKM) in line with Subsection 7(i) of the Chemists Act 1975 (Act 158) is empowered to approve or refuse the granting of accreditation of chemistry and chemistry-related programmes in public and private higher educational institutions in Malaysia in accordance with the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) Act 2007 [Act 679]. To ensure that academic programmes meet the needs of stakeholders, IKM has established the IKM-MQA Joint Technical Committee (JTC) to evaluate the development and deliveries of chemistry-related academic programmes from higher educational providers in Malaysia.
