LMIC Examinations

IKM Membership examination will be held in October yearly. The closing date to sit for the examination is 15 June 2017 or when all the places are filled up whichever is earlier. The application form, a copy of the examination syllabus and regulations, and past year examination question papers can be obtained from the Institute.
 
The following persons are qualified to sit for the final examinations, namely, pass degree graduates, with a pass in chemistry, from a University not recognized by the government; and persons who possess the Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualification and have undertaken a course or courses equivalent to the syllabus of the Institute for Part I or Part II of the final examinations.
 
IKM REFRESHER COURSE FOR PART 1 LMIC EXAMINATIONS 2017 (6TH MAY to 9TH SEPTEMBER 2017)

Institut Kimia Malaysia (IKM) in collaboration with Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) are offering a Refresher Course for IKM Part I Examinations in 2017.

The Course is based on the syllabi of the IKM Part I Examinations. It is intended for those who will be sitting for the IKM Part I Licentiate Examinations.

The Course comprises the following 4 Modules with a total of 80 hours of Lectures:
Module 1 – Inorganic Chemistry (20 hours)
Module 2 – Organic Chemistry (20 hours)
Module 3 – Physical Chemistry (20 hours)
Module 4 – Analytical Chemistry (20 hours)

The Course will start on 6th May 2017 (Saturday) at Room CC204, Communication & Information Technology Centre (CITC), Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC), Jalan Genting Kelang, Setapak, Kuala Lumpur.

Course Fee:
Course Fee is RM4,000 (+ 6% GST per participant)

Registration:
Those interested to take the IKM Refresher Course are required to fill in the Registration Form which is available on IKM Website, and together with the Course Fee, mail to Institut Kimia Malaysia (IKM) to reach the following address before 31st March 2017.
